Three Goal Structures
Participants explore the three goal structures (i.e., competitive, individualistic, cooperative) teachers can use to facilitate student learning. They learn the five critical elements of the model of cooperative group learning developed by David and Roger Johnson, explore the role of the teacher in establishing cooperative groups, and are provided with lesson planning guides.
