Co-Teaching
New Lessons and Strategies to Facilitate Student Learning
Through presentation and viewing of video footage, participants become familiar with the 4 approaches to co-teaching and learn about the benefits and cautions when applying each approach. In addition, scheduling, role clarification, administrative support, lesson planning, and other logistical issues are explored. Participants are provided with tools to assist in establishing trust, facilitating communication and coordination of effort, and making efficient use of available planning time.
